Back in October I had the pleasure of documenting an intimate elopement out at Ghost Lake, AB. Leslie had found me and reached out and we met up for an engagement session only a couple of weeks before their elopement. We quickly became acquainted and went from there!
Being able to share their special day was really awesome, especially with such an intimate setting. There were only about 16 people or so in attendance, but no shortage of laughter and love.
They held the ceremony outside in front of the lake, overlooking the mountains. They truly lucked out because driving on my way to Ghost Lake, there were spouts of flurries, but the sun came through and was shining down on the whole ceremony! The reception was in Leslie's family cabin which has been in the family since 1905 when her grandfather bought it for only $5!
There were so many special details that they put a lot of thought into and it was just so nice sharing all of those special little things throughout
the day with them.
